Open carefully
Remove the built-in key. Wrap its grip in cloth and carefully pry the cover slot to remove the upper half. Keep the buttons from falling out.

Replace
Use a cloth-wrapped flat-tip screwdriver at the battery edge. Fit a new CR2032 in the correct polarity, matching the removed cell orientation, then close the case and test the remote.

Handle the cell safely
Keep both old and new button cells away from children; swallowing can cause fatal internal burns. Dispose of the old cell according to local rules.
