Put the arms in service position
Switch to accessory mode, operate the wipers and switch the vehicle off when they reach their highest position. Do not manually force the arms across the windshield.

Release the blade
With the vehicle off, lift the arm itself and press the blade-locking button. Remove the blade while keeping control of the arm. Never lift the arm by pulling the blade, or let a bare arm spring back onto the glass.

Install and verify
Reverse the removal sequence with the correct replacement blade. Check that its latch locks before lowering the arm. Work on one side at a time so the untouched assembly remains a useful visual reference.
