Remove the motor
Remove hatch-trim screws and release the panel progressively with a plastic trim tool, noting its overlap with the upper trim. Disconnect the motor wiring. Disconnect and plug the washer line if present. Remove the three 10 mm motor nuts and motor, then push the glass gasket outward.

Seal the opening
Clean the APR plug with alcohol-based cleaner. Apply a small bead of gasket material around its sealing area as illustrated. Insert the plug from inside and align its logo horizontally. Remove excess silicone outside and allow it to dry; APR specifies inside masking tape for retention if movement is necessary before cure.

Reassemble
Check that every trim clip is present. Refit the panel with the correct upper-trim overlap, then reinstall screws and covers. This modification removes rear-wiper functionality.
