BMW Digital Key reset on OS7 or OS9; not an OS8 menu reference.
STEP 01

Select the matching reset path

OS7: CAR, Settings, Doors/vehicle access, Digital Key, Reset function. OS9: Apps Menu, Keys, Digital Key, Reset function. Confirm only when you are ready to re-pair.

STEP 02

Prepare to pair again

Both physical key fobs must be in the car and the vehicle must be in Standby state. The second key requirement matters for pairing even though one authorized key permits the reset.

STEP 03

Add the main key

On OS9 open Apps Menu, Keys, Digital Key, then Add main key and follow the display. Alternatively, use BMW Digital Key in the My BMW App and follow its pairing prompts; BMW documents this route for re-pairing. Confirm the new key works before relying on it without the physical keys.
