Open Apps and Drive Recorder. Read and accept the Privacy Policy, then enter Settings. Select Recording allowed and choose the desired setting.

Verify the resulting configuration
Return to the setting and confirm the intended permission is selected. Then use the normal Drive Recorder controls to check operation. If recording remains unavailable, record the exact on-screen condition. The permission check does not establish storage status, camera health or a universal recording trigger; those require the vehicle’s Drive Recorder instructions.
