OS7 path

Open CAR, Settings, Climate control, then Preconditioning/ventilation. If shown, choose Remote Engine Start, then Starting engine for climate control. Read and confirm the disclaimer.

Open Apps menu, Vehicle apps, Climate control, Settings, Pre-conditioning, then Pre-conditioning for departure. Read and confirm the disclaimer.

OS9 path

Open Climate menu, Settings, Pre-conditioning, Remote Engine Start, then Start engine for climate control. Read and confirm the disclaimer. Afterward, check that the setting is retained.
