STEP 01

Preserve seal direction

Remove the internal rubber O-ring and spring clip from the original tube. Fit the O-ring into the machined flange with its flat face toward the turbo, matching the diagram on page 2b. Install the spring clip in the illustrated position.

STEP 02

Build and attach the adapter

Place both hose clamps over the silicone reducer and fit the reducer to the flange. At this stage tighten only the flange-side clamp. Push the flange assembly onto the turbo inlet until the connection clicks into place.

Leave the tube joint adjustable

The other clamp remains available for the carbon tube during final intake fitting. Continue with the airbox assembly and sensor-transfer steps in the linked instructions; the tube clamp is tightened only after positioning, without overtightening the carbon.
