STEP 01

Read the container specification

Toyota lists its SP 0W-20 oil with API SP/RC, ILSAC GF-6A and SAE 0W-20 identification. The approved-oil text also identifies API SN PLUS/RC or ILSAC GF-6A conformity. Use the complete specification rather than selecting by viscosity alone.

STEP 02

Check the finished level

The listed capacities are replacement estimates. Toyota directs checking with the dipstick after warming the engine, stopping it and waiting at least eight minutes. Do not treat a quoted capacity as proof of the correct final level. This entry does not provide a drain-plug torque or an oil-change procedure.
