Remove original intake
Ignition off; preserve settings/radio codes and disconnect battery negative. Unplug MAF and release harness. Loosen airbox hose clamp and wastegate-vent spring clamp. Remove fresh-air duct and inner-fender airbox bolt. Release box clips, remove both halves, then loosen turbo-inlet clamp and remove intake hose. Retain parts.

Fit shield and tube
Attach shield standoffs and edge trim. Leave bracket 010040 loose; position shield in factory grommets. Clamp coupler 5-1045 to turbo inlet. Fit tube grommet and transfer MAF with supplied screws. Remove indicated cover bolt and fit bracket 083164 with spacer beneath. Align tube in coupler and secure.

Reconnect
Insert wastegate fitting without pushing grommet inside. Fit filter. Route MAF harness behind shield and reconnect. Refit fresh-air duct, securing bracket 064315 above the shield bracket; finish securing the assembly.

Verify
Reconnect battery after checking every fitting and clearance. Start in Park/Neutral with parking brake set. Correct leaks/noises before road testing. Reinspect connections periodically. Use the official diagrams for bracket orientation.
