Remove the factory intake
Release both radiator-cover pins and underside clips. Remove the cover and intake tube. Unplug MAF, release the lid screws and remove lid/MAF, then the three lower-airbox bolts and box.

Assemble the shield
Fit trim and both brackets. Transfer MAF with the supplied gaskets and adapter; attach the filter. Secure the assembly, including the supplied core-support button-head bolt and fender washer retaining the splash shield.

Join the intake
Fit 08755 to the throttle body and the hump hose to the new tube. Connect and clamp the tube to throttle body and MAF. Refit the radiator cover and clips, reconnect MAF and display the supplied emissions label.

Final check
Check alignment, clamps and connectors; reconnect the battery. Idle in Park/Neutral with the parking brake set. Resolve leaks/noises before road-testing; recheck connections periodically.
