Remove the original intake
Disconnect MAF and unclip its harness. Loosen the turbo-inlet clamp and lift the assembly from its grommets.

Build the replacement
Fit edge trim, filter adapter and mounting brackets/posts using the illustrated spacers and hardware. Fit the filter and seat the assembly in factory grommets. Fit 08711 at the filter adapter and 08540 at the turbo inlet.

Transfer the sensor
Fit the gasket and MAF adapter; orient the sensor opening toward the tube inlet. Install the air diverter with its radiused face inside. Clamp the tube, reconnect MAF and secure its harness with sufficient slack; the sheet permits releasing harness tape as needed.

Final check
Check alignment, clamps and connectors; reconnect the battery. Idle in Park/Neutral with the parking brake set. Resolve leaks/noises before road-testing; recheck connections periodically.
