Operate rear-window washing
Use the rear-window cleaning control described in your vehicle manual. That operation also commands cleaning of the rear camera. This guide deliberately does not substitute a stalk layout from a different generation.

Inspect the result
While safely parked, check whether the camera image has cleared. The cleaning function’s operation is useful to establish before assuming a smeared image means a failed camera.

Keep the fault description specific
If the picture remains poor, note whether the rear window was washed and whether the camera view changed. The FAQ establishes the linked cleaning function but does not give a nozzle-removal procedure, fluid-pressure specification or camera diagnosis. Persistent problems require the correct model’s service information.
