STEP 01

Begin with loose dirt

Vacuum away dust and lint. For ordinary handling marks, use a damp microfiber towel. Starting with the lightest cleaning method avoids treating every mark as a major stain.

STEP 02

Treat a more substantial stain

MINI recommends original MINI PET cleaner and a brush for moderate or heavy staining. Remove surplus dirt with a towel, then apply cleaner to the stain and surrounding area and to the brush. Allow it to act and work it into the textile.

STEP 03

Remove residue

Wipe excess cleaner away with a clean, damp microfiber towel. Repeat the treatment if necessary. Finish by wiping the whole panel with a clean damp towel to reduce patchy marks around the treated area.

Keep the display separate

The FAQ identifies MINI’s Display Cloth as a separate accessory for the display. Do not automatically extend a textile-panel cleaner and brushing procedure to the screen. Keep a note of the surface and product used if a stain needs professional attention.
