Verify compatibility first
Match the Accessport part number to the exact vehicle in COBB’s current catalog. Similar cases and cables can cover different applications. Ask for clear photographs of the device identification and status, not only the seller’s description.

Check whether it is still installed
COBB explains that an Accessport still installed on another vehicle cannot simply be used on yours. Have the seller complete the supported uninstall process or obtain current relicensing terms directly from COBB. Include that cost before deciding the used unit is a bargain.

Check what comes with it
Confirm the correct cable, accessories and account or support requirements. Do not assume custom maps or another owner’s calibration are transferable or appropriate. Complete the transaction only when compatibility and license state are documented.
