Loosen before releasing the belt
Loosen, but do not remove, all three original pulley bolts. Turn the automatic tensioner with a 14mm wrench enough to lift the belt from the water-pump pulley. Remove the bolts and pulley.

Refit the pulley and belt
Place the replacement pulley over the pump and start the original bolts hand tight. Route the belt onto the pulleys, leaving the center tensioner pulley until last. Rotate the tensioner with the wrench, slip the belt on and release the tensioner under control. Torque the pulley’s three bolts to 10.3 ft-lb.

Check running alignment
Check that the belt rides fully on every pulley and that the pulleys run true without wobble. If operation is correct, test-drive and recheck the water-pump pulley bolts.
