Locate the feet and bar
Remove the four inner/forward strut-top nuts. Fit the feet with supplied low-profile nuts left about a turn loose. Feed the bar under the wiring harness and center its engagement in the two feet. The harness-support tab may rest on the bar.

Seat the caps evenly
Install both caps and start every M6 screw before tightening. Push the bar toward the firewall and torque the four low-profile nuts to 22 ft-lb. Keep pushing rearward while tightening cap screws from inner to outer.

Use two torque passes
With an appropriate low-range wrench, torque all eight M6 screws first to 5 ft-lb and then 8 ft-lb. Keep cap gaps even. If alignment needs correction, loosen those eight screws, adjust and repeat tightening.
