Save the complete fault

Read the ABS module with a tool that supports the vehicle, not only generic engine codes. Record the exact code and warning behavior before clearing anything. Note recent bearing, brake, wheel or suspension work.

Compare the system

Delphi recommends checking live wheel-speed data alongside stored faults. A technician should compare wheel signals and inspect the circuit, connector and encoder arrangement. A code naming one corner does not by itself prove the sensor is the failed part.

Verify safely

ABS and stability functions may be limited while a fault is present. Follow the vehicle’s warning instructions and arrange repair. Do not intentionally provoke wheel lock or a slide to test the system. After repair, confirm the fault and signal behavior are resolved through the proper diagnostic procedure.
