STEP 01

Prepare access

Turn the car fully off before disconnecting sensors. Follow BMW instructions for removing the covers and carbon brace. Obtain the required replacement hardware and refitting procedure before starting.

STEP 02

Transfer and test-fit

Carefully transfer the sensors. Clean the lower-airbox seal tracks and fit the kit gaskets/spacers. Test-fit filters inside the lids before tightening so they do not interfere with the boxes.

STEP 03

Match the breather provision

Reconnect the fuel-tank breather where fitted; use the manufacturer’s specified closure for the variant without that connection. Do not leave an unused intake opening exposed.

STEP 04

Reassemble and inspect

Seat the boxes in their mounts, secure hoses, reconnect sensors and refit the brace with the correct BMW hardware procedure. Check all connections and remove tools. The full illustrated kit instructions remain necessary; this summary does not replace their fitting details.
