Read two labels
Identify the installed battery chemistry and the complete charger model. Then use that charger’s compatibility table. A car without start-stop can still have AGM, and a start-stop label alone does not select the correct charger setting.
Connect where the vehicle specifies
Use the vehicle’s designated charging points and the charger’s connection order. Battery-monitoring arrangements can make the approved ground point important. Keep the charger ventilated and follow the battery maker’s precautions.
Do not import another model’s routine
A snowflake, AGM or reconditioning label can mean different things across chargers. Do not copy a mode sequence from a different CTEK unit. If chemistry, voltage or vehicle isolation requirements are uncertain, resolve them before energizing the charger.
