Prepare the measurement

Use level ground and an engine at operating temperature. The detailed stationary check requires drive-ready state with the engine running; follow the display’s prerequisites and keep the vehicle secured. Do not run it in an enclosed space.

STEP 01

Open the documented menu

In the 2021 interface, select CAR, Vehicle status, Engine oil level, then the engine-oil measurement and start command. Follow the display until the check finishes. Menu labels can differ on later software.

STEP 02

Read before adding

Write down the actual result and warning wording. If a reading is unavailable, do not estimate a top-up from the graphic or keep adding oil in an attempt to force an update.

Keep measurement and oil selection separate

A level check does not identify the correct oil approval or a refill capacity. Use the vehicle’s own manual and displayed instruction for any addition. This guide supplies neither a universal quantity nor an oil recommendation.

If the reading will not complete

Record the menu message, conditions and recent service history for diagnosis. Ask the workshop to establish why the measurement cannot complete before treating the display as proof of an oil-level fault.
