The documented work
The table specifies engine oil and filter, rear axle differential oil, and deactivation of the running-in check through the diagnostic path. It does not list a universal manual-gearbox oil change for this M3 service.

Plan the visit
Confirm the current checklist
Give the service center the VIN and current mileage. Ask it to confirm the applicable maintenance information and book the running-in visit rather than an ordinary oil change.
Keep the actual work record
Retain the itemized invoice and service entry. The useful evidence is what was performed, at what mileage and on which date—not just an absence of a dashboard message.
Buying a used car?
Ask for the original service record. A seller’s recollection or a cleared reminder does not document which fluids were serviced. If the record is missing, discuss the gap with the inspecting workshop instead of inventing a completion date.
Limits of this reference
The booklet allows current vehicle-specific maintenance information to govern. This page does not give fluid part numbers, capacities or a universal schedule for other model years. Follow the car’s own running-in driving instructions separately.

Should I reset the reminder myself?
A reset cannot perform the maintenance. Have the service record and diagnostic completion handled as part of the actual visit; do not use a cleared display as a substitute for proof of work.
