Remove factory components
Remove the engine cover. Disconnect bypass, crankcase and equipped EVAP lines. Release the sound tube, cut its drum clamp and cap the drum. Loosen the throttle clamp, unplug the MAF, and release both airbox clips.

Rebuild the intake
Remove the lid/tube and filter. Fit the supplied filter; separate the stock tube and refit the lid. Fit 08699 at the throttle body and 08760 at the airbox; reconnect MAF. Fit the tube connections hand-tight plus two turns; use plug 08032 where EVAP is absent. Clamp the tube, reconnect each hose, refit the cover and display the supplied emissions label.

Final check
Check alignment, clamps and connectors; reconnect the battery. Idle in Park/Neutral with the parking brake set. Resolve leaks/noises before road-testing; recheck connections periodically.
