Remove the original tube
Lift off the engine and strut covers. Release the crankcase hose, loosen both tube clamps, and remove the tube. Unplug the MAF connector.

Replace the filter
Undo the three lid screws, replace the element with the supplied filter, secure the lid and reconnect the MAF.

Fit the new tube
Clamp coupler 08761 to the throttle body and 08418 to the airbox. Start the tube fitting by hand, then tighten two additional turns. Seat the tube in both couplers, align and clamp it. Reconnect the crankcase hose and replace both covers. Display the supplied emissions label as instructed.

Final check
Check alignment, clamps and connectors; reconnect the battery. Idle in Park/Neutral with the parking brake set. Resolve leaks/noises before road-testing; recheck connections periodically.
