Remove original components
Disconnect IAT. Release the airbox clamp and two clips; remove the upper box and filter. Loosen both turbo-inlet clamps and remove the intake tube.

Build the shield
Cut the small trim into two 9.5-inch lengths and glue them in the illustrated positions. Fit top trim, adapter and filter; clip the assembly to the lower airbox. Fit coupler 08699 at the adapter, 08761 at the driver-side inlet and 087121 at the passenger-side inlet.

Transfer IAT
Unlock and rotate the fragile sensor counterclockwise out of its housing. Remove its O-ring and seat it in the supplied tube grommet. Fit and clamp the tube to both inlets and filter-side coupler; reconnect IAT.

Final check
Check alignment, clamps and connectors; reconnect the battery. Idle in Park/Neutral with the parking brake set. Resolve leaks/noises before road-testing; recheck connections periodically.
