Separate the functions

MHD offers flashing, map and monitoring capabilities through product options and bundles. Read the current contents for the B58 product rather than assuming a monitoring purchase includes every flashing or map entitlement.

Check the vehicle and connection

Confirm the supported ECU, any unlock requirement and the adapter/device combination before purchase. B58 is an engine family, not proof that every ECU generation uses the same workflow. An app download alone does not establish compatibility.

Buy around the intended work

List whether you need diagnostics, logging, an off-the-shelf map or a custom calibration. Compare the complete cost and support requirements. Keep license and vehicle records in the owner’s account rather than relying on a previous owner’s screenshots.
