Thinkware U3000: set the delay before parking recording

STEP 01

Open the parking controls

Connect to the camera by Bluetooth in Thinkware Dashcam Link. Open Dash Cam Settings, then Record Settings. Confirm the desired parking mode is already enabled.

Choose the delay

Open Parking Mode Waiting Time. The documented choices are 30 seconds or one, two, three, four or five minutes. Select the value that suits the intended transition, then tap the top-left back arrow to finish.

Observe the result

Reopen the menu to confirm the saved value. With the car safely parked, switch off the ignition and observe the transition. Record the delay, power accessory and camera behavior if it differs from expectations; accessory-specific delays must be assessed using that accessory’s instructions.
