Set the two gates
Remove the knob, select neutral and lift the boot/trim assembly. Select fifth and note the factory gap. Replace the two factory stop bolts with the supplied hardware and stop, initially loose. Adjust the factory stop in fifth and the PERRIN stop in first, leaving roughly 1/8 inch of movement at the knob.

Finish the housing
Use the 7mm wrench to remove the two small housing nuts. Add the supplied washers, center them and tighten only slightly beyond hand tight. Refit trim and knob, repeat the gear checks and recheck hardware after one week.
