Remove tube and filter
Lift off engine cover. Disconnect breather hose and detach vacuum-line harness from original tube. Loosen both tube clamps and remove tube. Release four airbox clips and remove panel filter.

Fit filter, hoses and tube
Install AEM panel filter and reseat/clip the lid. For IS350 use throttle coupler 5-325; fit hump hose 5-586 at airbox lid. Add clamps and position tube between hoses. Reconnect breather. Refit engine cover; adjust tube for engine/cover clearance before tightening clamps.

Complete the checks
Check hood clearance, all disturbed hardware and tool inventory. Reconnect battery, idle three minutes and inspect before driving. Do not use aluminum polish on the coated tube.

Plan subsequent care
AEM describes filter servicing up to 100,000 miles depending on conditions. Its reusable synthetic medium does not require oil. Record the installed filter number rather than relying on color or the generic description “performance filter” when buying service materials.
