What this assembly retains
Borla’s S-Type axle-back contains functioning NPP valves. The listing includes both coupe and convertible applications. Confirm the car has the stated dual-tip/NPP arrangement before proceeding.

The expansion has another boundary
For a coupe, Borla describes adding mid-pipe/X-pipe 60607 without AFM valves or 60610 with AFM valves to form a cat-back. Those mid-pipe assemblies do not fit convertibles. Compatibility of the rear assembly does not automatically carry over to the expanded system.

Write the whole parts list
Record the axle-back and any intended mid-pipe number separately, together with body style and AFM/NPP equipment. Have the installer verify the complete combination before purchasing additional pieces. This avoids treating a convertible-compatible rear section as proof of a convertible-compatible full system. Mechanical work follows the instructions for every selected component.
