Remove and cap the sound connection
Disconnect sound and crankcase hoses, loosen the tube clamps and remove the intake tube. Remove both sound-drum bolts and separate the front sound tube. Fit the supplied cap to its union, then install that assembly in the rear sound tube.

Replace the filter and tube
Undo five lid screws, replace the filter and secure the lid. Fit 08761 at the throttle body and 08695 at the MAF housing. Start the new tube fitting by hand, then add two turns. Seat and clamp the tube, reconnect the crankcase hose and display the supplied emissions label.

Final check
Check alignment, clamps and connectors; reconnect the battery. Idle in Park/Neutral with the parking brake set. Resolve leaks/noises before road-testing; recheck connections periodically.
