Continental classifies ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus as an ultra-high-performance all-season tire and ExtremeContact Sport 02 as a summer performance tire. They are not interchangeable seasonal choices just because both sit in the ExtremeContact range.

Match the daily job
If the car encounters cold weather on the same set, begin with the temperature and winter-use requirements. A summer-focused second set can make sense when a suitable winter arrangement already exists. Do not select by the most aggressive product name.

Compare the actual sizes
Verify load rating, speed rating and size availability for both axles, especially on a staggered car. Compare tests using relevant sizes and conditions. PHTM has not independently tested these two products and does not assign a universal grip or comfort winner.
