Read the figures correctly

Ford lists 466 hp at 5,500 rpm as peak output, while its stated 26 hp gain occurs at 3,250 rpm. Likewise, peak torque is listed as 554 lb-ft at 3,250 rpm, with a 54 lb-ft gain at 2,500 rpm. These are different comparisons, not interchangeable numbers.

Keep the claim in context

Those figures are manufacturer claims for the named calibration. Record the test conditions and vehicle configuration when comparing an independent dyno result; a single larger number does not establish a like-for-like comparison.

Prepare the package

The included ProCal 4 and calibration are VIN-locked and nontransferable. Ford specifies premium fuel for maximum performance, and the tool can read and clear diagnostic codes. Record any existing codes before an installation appointment rather than using code clearing as a repair. Follow current ProCal instructions for programming.
