Start the correct app workflow
Open Garmin Drive. For a first Garmin device accept the app agreements; for another camera select Add Another Device. Choose Garmin Dash Cam Series. This workflow registers the camera in Drive, rather than only creating an entry in the phone’s Bluetooth list.

Put the camera into pairing mode
Hold the camera’s Save button until the status LED flashes blue. Follow Garmin Drive’s prompts to finish pairing and setup. Completion returns you to the app dashboard.

Check the expected connection
After pairing, camera and phone automatically reconnect when powered on and within range. Open the camera in Drive to confirm the correct device. Remote Wi-Fi functions and Vault storage require a paid subscription; local pairing alone does not establish access to those remote services.
