Identify the surface

A seat can combine coated leather, synthetic panels, textile inserts and perforations. Use the vehicle’s material-care guidance and a compatible cleaner. A product suitable for one leather finish is not automatically suitable for suede-like material or every trim panel.

Work gently in sections

Vacuum loose grit first. Test a hidden area, apply cleaner in a controlled way and avoid saturating seams, perforations or nearby electronics. Use clean tools and remove residue as directed rather than scrubbing until the surface changes texture.

Condition only where appropriate

Follow the material and product instructions for any conditioning step. More product is not necessarily more protection. Leave the seat dry and free of slippery residue before use, and stop if color transfers or the finish deteriorates.
