TEIN FLEX A uses a hydraulic bump-stop function intended to soften the impact as suspension travel approaches its limit. This is a damper design feature, not additional physical clearance between a tire and the body.

The manufacturer lists full-length height adjustment, twin-tube construction and adjustable damping. Check the actual application for included mounts and permitted height range. Those specifications describe the product; they do not establish that it will ride better on every road or at every setting.

Choose around the daily workload
Account for passengers, cargo, wheel fitment and available travel before lowering. A bump-stop feature cannot make an excessively low setup immune to bottoming or rubbing. Compare the exact FLEX A application with alternatives and budget for installation and alignment as part of the decision.
