STEP 01

Read and save the current state

Open SRI Reset. VCDS reads the cluster’s current values and supporting label-file instructions. Save to logfile preserves the session details before changes.

STEP 02

Select the appropriate reset

Choose the reset for the vehicle and region. Many newer Audi models need the regional mileage-based option rather than Simple or Basic Service Reset. UDS clusters may distinguish oil service from time-based inspection.

STEP 03

Apply and verify

Click Perform SRI, cycle the ignition and check the cluster. The completed service reminder should no longer be due.

If the display shows dashes

Flexible-interval systems can display dashes until enough distance/time has accumulated to calculate the next interval. Unsupported SRI requires label-file or adaptation-map assistance; do not guess replacement interval values.
