Review fuel-pressure measuring values. Plan checks of supply-line restriction, low-pressure leakage, fuel filtration, pump delivery quantity and injector leakage using the correct engine procedure.

Follow the relevant mechanical branch
Applicable 2.0 TFSI engines can require inspection of the camshaft and pump follower. Their bulletin references are not a universal inspection procedure for every TSI or TDI engine.

For common-rail diesel
Fuel contamination and cold-weather fuel blending have separate application-specific bulletin guidance. Provide fuel history and the full scan to the repairer instead of starting with a generic pump replacement.
