Remove before washing

Release the retention points and lift the liner out without spilling grit into the cabin. Shake or rinse away loose dirt. Clean the carpet underneath separately so trapped moisture and debris do not remain hidden.

Use a suitable cleaner

WeatherTech provides a cleaner intended for its liner materials. Follow the product directions and use a gentle brush where appropriate. Avoid turning the driver’s footwell into a dressed, glossy surface with an unapproved slippery treatment.

Dry and refit

Let the liner dry, inspect its shape and anchors, then reinstall it directly on the floor with the correct retention. Confirm pedal clearance again. Cleaning is also a chance to notice damaged clips or a liner that no longer stays in position.
