Separate airflow from temperature

Weak airflow and warm airflow are different complaints. Note blower settings, outside temperature and whether cooling improves at road speed. DENSO’s diagnostic process begins with reproducing the conditions rather than immediately replacing the compressor.

A recharge is not the diagnosis

Refrigerant quantity, condenser airflow and control problems can all affect cooling. Proper diagnosis uses the specified test conditions and checks the system as a whole. A single low-side gauge reading does not establish the correct charge or explain a leak.

Bring useful evidence

Record when the fault appears and any recent A/C work. Have a qualified shop check applicable service information, refrigerant specification and measured performance. Avoid repeated top-ups without finding the underlying issue; overcharging can create another cooling problem.
