Identify both requirements

Use the Bosch application catalog for blade length and connector type. The two front blades can differ, and a rear blade can use a separate design. Compare the supplied adapter with the original arm before removing protective packaging.

Protect the glass

Follow the vehicle’s wiper service-position procedure if the arms sit below the hood. Protect the windshield while changing the blade and never allow an empty spring-loaded arm to snap onto the glass. Follow the connector-specific illustration rather than forcing a near-fitting adapter.

Check the latch

Confirm the blade is fully latched, remove the shipping cover and lower the arm gently. Test on a wet windshield and verify clearance through the full sweep. A blade that pulls free, hits trim or leaves a large unswept area needs correction before road use.
