Read LV as a requirement

Low-viscosity formulations address fluid movement through modern hydraulic control systems at low temperatures. Brembo distinguishes DOT 4 LV from other brake-fluid options. A high advertised boiling point alone does not establish the required cold-flow behavior.

Compare complete specifications

Use the vehicle’s specified standard and class, not only a large DOT number on the bottle. Check the current technical sheet for the exact product. Different products within one brand can serve different applications.

Keep service intervals

A premium or racing-oriented fluid does not remove moisture-related maintenance requirements. Follow the vehicle and product service guidance and record the product used. If selecting fluid for track use, discuss both temperature demands and street compatibility with a qualified brake specialist.
