Check the vehicle and tool together
Ford supplies a ProCal 4 delivery tool with this calibration. Both are locked to one VIN and are nontransferable. A tool with the right appearance is therefore not enough to establish that it can program a second car. Ask Ford’s technical line about any uncertain history before buying.

Prepare the workstation
Ford lists Windows 7 or newer and excludes Windows 10 S Mode. Check the current download requirements on the day of installation rather than assuming any laptop will work. Premium fuel is specified for maximum performance.

Preserve the record
The product page marks the package nonreturnable and ties its stated warranty to qualifying professional installation, measured from the vehicle’s original in-service date. Confirm those details before purchase. This guide resolves purchasing and setup requirements; it does not authorize programming without the current ProCal instructions.
