Remove the stock assembly
Loosen airbox and turbo clamps; disconnect bypass-valve and crankcase hoses. Remove the tube. Disconnect IAT, remove the airbox bolt and lift out the airbox.

Fit the shield
Assemble trim, adapter and brackets with the illustrated spacer. Attach the rail bracket to the existing threaded hole; secure the shield to bracket and fender. Attach the filter and turbo coupler 08638.

Transfer and reconnect
Carefully remove IAT and its O-ring; seat it in the supplied tube grommet. Install the vent fitting hand-tight plus two turns. Fit the hump coupler and tube, reconnect ventilation and bypass hoses, and use the extension harness for IAT. Display the supplied emissions label.

Final check
Check alignment, clamps and connectors; reconnect the battery. Idle in Park/Neutral with the parking brake set. Resolve leaks/noises before road-testing; recheck connections periodically.
