The compact petcock drain kit is intended for the corresponding Mishimoto compact catch can. Verify the can model and included fittings before ordering; a similar-looking drain opening does not establish compatibility.

Plan a protected drain route
Install according to the kit instructions and keep the hose and valve away from heat, moving parts and road damage. Leave access for a collection container. A convenient drain is useful only if it remains sealed during normal operation.

Keep the maintenance routine
Check the can regularly and establish an interval based on its instructions and actual accumulation. Dispose of collected fluid appropriately rather than returning an unknown oil-and-water mixture to the engine. After servicing, close the valve and inspect for leaks; the accessory does not remove the need to monitor the can.
