Diagnose before removing

Confirm the failed circuit and exact replacement application. A damaged encoder or connector can remain faulty after a new sensor is fitted. Obtain the vehicle-specific access, fastener and diagnostic instructions.

Preserve the routing

Photograph the original lead path and clips. Install the sensor and harness using the specified mounts, keeping the lead clear of rotating parts, heat and full suspension or steering movement. Do not leave unused slack hanging near the wheel.

Finish with a system check

Inspect connector sealing and seating, then complete the prescribed fault clearing and verification. A warning that returns immediately needs further diagnosis. This is an installation planning reference, not a universal sensor torque or air-gap specification.
