Identify the intended system

Liqui Moly groups additives by application. Read the full product name and label rather than selecting a can by color or a broad promise of smoother running. A fuel-system product does not belong in the engine-oil filler.

Check permission and dose

Confirm vehicle compatibility, existing oil or fuel requirements and the exact dose. Do not combine multiple treatments unless the manufacturer supports that combination. Account for total fill level so an oil additive does not cause overfilling.

Set a measurable goal

A documented symptom or maintenance purpose is a better starting point than adding products preventively without a reason. Preserve codes and service history before treatment. Mechanical wear, pressure faults and leaks can need repair; an additive claim is not a diagnosis.
